Social Media Community Manager

We’re a visionary content studio. We help brands win new fans through social, creative, content strategy, words, and video personalisation. We work with global brands including Google, Lazada, YouTube and others.

We are looking for an ambitious Social Media Community Manager to help deliver incredible social content campaigns for our clients.  

THE ROLE

We are growing our social capabilities in the APAC region and looking for a social expert with good account management skills to drive a number of client projects in the B2B and B2C space. You will work with our clients to deliver and optimise organic and paid campaigns. You’ll be involved in the strategy, planning and posting of content across our client’s social channels and also support content strategy, social listening, content creation and more. You get to work with the whole team at distillery, from senior management, production to creative. 

You’ll also be client facing, pre-empting their needs and solving their biggest marketing challenges. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Generate social media plans by identifying trending topics and using own creative skills and working with our in-house creation team where necessary

  • Working directly with the clients to strategize and execute anything from tactical ideas to big campaigns

  • Mapping out and scheduling content

  • Writing social media posts that are grammatically correct, engaging in a variety of styles / tones of voice depending on the client

  • Work effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner

  • Collaborate with other teams to actively manage and grow the communities

  • Generate regular reporting and insights on platform and content performance

  • Plan and manage paid ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram

MUST HAVE

  • The ability to understand our client’s audiences and objectives, and how certain approaches on social can deliver to meet their needs

  • LinkedIn platform experience

  • An understanding of B2B and tech brands

  • A collaborative approach to work

  • Organised, approachable and collaborative

  • Confident in front of clients and the ability to pitch and present

  • Excellent written English - other languages a bonus!

  • A deep understanding of social media metrics and data and a thirst to keep learning

  • An innovative attitude and a desire to push boundaries

  • Above all, the drive and enthusiasm to strategise and deliver brilliant social campaigns

NICE SKILLS TO HAVE

  • 4+ years experience of Social Media in similar industry

  • Experience in client facing roles

  • Ability to use photoshop, After Effects a bonus
